Raising the Standard in Laundry & Holiday Let Cleaning

We’ve invested £18,000 in a new 24kg TOLON commercial washer, further elevating standards across our laundry and holiday let cleaning services. This latest addition strengthens our ongoing investment in professional-grade equipment, including commercial washers, dryers and a stainless steel ironing system.

This advanced machine allows us to:

  • Handle larger volumes without compromising on quality
  • Wash linen at the optimum temperature for superior hygiene
  • Deliver an even higher standard of cleanliness
  • Improve efficiency while reducing water usage

We are delighted in the autumn to have secured the linen contract for the prestigious Cavendish Arms in Cartmel.

This enchanting 450 year old coaching inn provides the very best in food, accommodation and ambiance.

Under the watchful eye of long serving and well respected landlord Richard English, The Cavendish continues to thrive and we look forward to a long working relationship with Richard and his team.

We regard this contract as a real feather in our cap and is a testament to our growing reputation in the Lake District hospitality sector.

Otter Tarn

At the southern edge of the Lake District National Park lies Mungeon Farm estate, once part of a historic family estate and now eco-sensitively managed by owners John and Kath, who discovered it 15 years ago. The estate features Otter Tarn, a 14-acre trout fishery, and the Lakesteads: six architect-designed, 5-star retreats that blend contemporary luxury with natural beauty, offering spacious, light-filled, self-catering accommodation. Completing the collection is Mungeon Barn, a stunning barn conversion that combines traditional charm with modern luxury, creating an unforgettable Lake District holiday experience.

When I started to rent my holiday cottage out commercially I was very anxious as I live 300 miles from it, so it is difficult to get there to sort anything. I need not have worried. We first approached LPS when we decided to set up our newly renovated home as a holiday let. The team helped us with every decision from the start, the different laundry options, supplier contacts and options for welcome pack supplies, managing statutory obligations with PAT testing etc and all the bits in-between!

We are currently overseas and so we have needed to rely on the LPS team to be our eyes and ears on the ground and to make sure that the cleaning setup and all the little flourishes are perfect every time – and they have excelled! Feedback from our guests has consistently rated the cleaning as 10 stars and so that says it all really! Without the marvellous LPS team we would not have had the reviews and success with our property to date – we look forward to working with them for years to come!!
